Come to beautiful Harlan County and participate in one of the states longest running 5k road races. Set in downtown Harlan, the Run For The Hills 5K has been an staple event during the annual Poke Sallet Festival for decades. With a rich tradition of runners, Harlan Countians of all ages come out to participate in this family friendly event each year. Please join us Saturday, June 6th in Downtown Harlan and then hang around for great food, rides, and musical entertainment throughout the day during the Poke Sallet Festival.

The course is challenging and gives every runner a serious sense of accomplishment when finished. A 3.1 mile scenic loop through downtown and over Ivy Hill. All runners will receive a RFTH t-shirt and top finishers will be awarded trophies and medals on the Courthouse Lawn immediately following the race.
